I’m leaving Friday to visit my mother on the coast for the weekend. (130 miles away) It’s tempting to take the Sunchaser, but it almost overheated last time I drove over the mountains that are on the way. Also, because of work travel, I will have to come home and switch cars before I leave.
In other words, do I create some hassle for myself just to drive the Sunchaser by the beach for a couple of days?

How did I not know about this car? That’s cool! And I like those wheels.

What is? I thought it was a Triumph Stag but a lack of an oil puddle says otherwise.

If I have learned anything by watching Roadkill, its that you should remove the hood if the car is overheating. That should solve your issue!

That stinks. I have the 20R in my pickup and it has been the most dependable engine I’ve ever owned. My temperature rises to 25% on the gage and never deviates. Do you think you just have a sticking thermostat?

A couple of squirts of water on the rad can do wonders when moving. Is it possible to rig a squirt bottle and tube to give it a few shots when the needle starts to creep. Sounds a bit odd but I’d do it.
When I had a 22R Celica, it was the timing chain issue that made my car overheat, once it ate through the timing guides.
